This Instant Pot Cream of Mushroom Soup is rich, creamy, and flavorful with mushrooms. It's a hearty soup that's ideal for a cold day.

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 20 minutes
  • Total Time: 30 minutes

Instructions

  • On the Instant Pot, select the sauté function and add the butter.
  • After the butter has melted, add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until they have released their liquid and turned brown.
  • Stir in the flour to coat the mushrooms.
  • Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  • Pour in the broth and combine thoroughly.
  • Combine the salt, black pepper, and garlic powder in a mixing bowl.
  • Close the Instant Pot lid and select the soup function.
  • Set the timer for 10 minutes.
  • When the cooking time is up, manually release the pressure and carefully remove the lid.
  • Allow the heavy cream to heat through for a minute or two.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy.
